This will probably be your new favorite mini cactus. It’s teal and purple and tiny and so cute! Has small pads that look similar to bunny ears. All over colorful cactus, it’s a cool bright one to add to miniature cactus gardens, since it will stay small. Coloration will change throughout the year depending on season and environment.

Dwarf variety of Opuntia, only gets 2' tall by 2-3' wide. It will stay even smaller if kept in a pot. Flowers and fruits in Spring / Summer.

You will receive the plant pictured or one almost identical. It is a rooted, well-established cactus currently growing in a 2 inch container. This cactus ships in pot.
The plant for sale is a live plant that ships bare root. You will receive the plant pictured or one very similar.

Cactus should be repotted on a warm day, let the roots settle for a day or two in the shade before watering and moving to more sun.

Handling tips: Wet the pad before planting (keeps the tiny hair-like prickers from flying) and use kitchen tongs - with rubber covers over the tips - to handle the cactus without scarring them while repotting.
