Aloe brevifolia Blue Succulent Plant
Aloe brevifolia is a colorful, and very drought-resistant dwarf succulent plant. This plant has chubby triangular leaves and opens into a beautiful rosette. The leaves are blue green and can turn to various shades of purple and pink when under stress. There are small white teeth along the leaf margins.
This type of clumping also Aloe offsets prolifically.
Aloe brevifolia is a hardy succulent plant that will spread as it matures. It stays low-growing, less than 12" tall and shoots up long flower spikes in late spring and early summer. The blooms are tangerine to orange in coloration.
This plant ships bare root. All plants are carefully packaged.
You will receive the plant pictured or one very similar.
Aloe need very little water, and are exceptionally drought-tolerant because they retain so much water in their fat leaves. They will need even less water during their dormancy.

We can not guarantee that your plant will be in bloom or display the same colors as those pictured. Please allow for some variance amongst live plants. Coloration is determined by individual plant, season, environment and/or care conditions (and even your computer monitor can effect appearance of plants in pictures). Note that our photos were also take under ideal natural lighting conditions.
